Frequent turn off

I am facing new problem with my 4 node tinxy switch that the lights get off automatically without any operation like switching off mannually or through tinxy app. Initially I thought this is because of the voltage fluctuations, but it is not so as my other tinxy 4 node module is working perfectly. Intresting thing is that, even though the light is off because of the some malfunction the status in tinxy app is showing ON. I have to take it to off position then once again to on position. The frequency getting off is increased, almost happening every 5 minutes. What should I do?

Same thing is happening with me also with my 6 node hardware version was 7.6 after that I upgraded to7.7but still the malfunctioning didn’t gone.

Tinxy should intervene and make it clear.

Please increase the switch delay from the menu to maximum for a few days and see if the issue is resolved.

sorry for the inconvenience sir please call us our customer support number 9319513343 .

Thankyou for responding sir.I am increasing the switch delay time to 300%. Let me check for two day’s.

Did the on off problem solved by increasing the delay switch to 300%

No problem didn’t not solved. It is as it is. But I noticed one thing that if I put on atleast two lights, then system works fine. I tried it for three days. It’s working normal. As soon as I use onesingle any of the light, the problem repeats and get’s off every five minutes.

Not sure what you mean by “onesingle any of the light”

The system (tinxy device)operates normally only when at least two of the four nodes are activated simultaneously, whether manually or through the Tinxy app. If only one node is used, the system malfunctions, requiring me to turn on another light unnecessarily to maintain proper operation.

But in my case whether I use single node or 2node in both it’s malfunction.one thing I use in the schedule modes.

You mean say that the device works normal during normal operation through app. And malfunction only during schedule preset timings. Am I right?

Actually that device is in my garden and schedule was fixed for every light.so I can’t say whether it works correctly in normal way ie by switch on and off method

Understood. I am using a temporary workaround until the module is repaired or replaced. What I did is this: I need the lights between 6:00 and 10:00 pm every day, so I set an “ON timer” at 10-minute intervals (since I am facing frequent switch-offs). This way, the light turns on without my intervention, and it worked. However, the frequent turning “on and off” of the lights annoyed my family members, so they are now using another light that is not controlled by Tinxy. Since yours is a garden light, this approach may work for you.

@GRJ the power supply on your module is very likely the issue. Sometimes a surge in voltage , even a 2 ms surge can partially fry the power supply. You will have to send this for repair.

Good work with identifying the issue.

What is the procedure to send the module?
