I needed to set my Tinxy switch on a hourly cycle of 15min ON then 45 min OFF (So, had to be 48 ‘schedules’ I guess). I got to know that there’s a limit of 20…

Schedule Setting for the Tinxy app

Hi Tinxy community, Schedules enables a person to use a Tinxy module according to the time of his/her own choice. For E.g- A person wants to use his geyzer at certain time for 1 hour. He can add a schedule for that and the switch will be on for that 1 hour and it will turn off after performing the action. Schedules can work offline too. For that It has to be connected with a router. Maximum 20 schedules can be set. For repetitive Schedules at every certain time. Scenes can be used . In this…

So, ended up doing it via Tasker (Android).

But I have a couple of minor requests…

Can you share the API schema for schedule creation also? (Corresponding to… App → Device → Schedule)
I am aware of the ‘core’ endpoints…

But the scheduling ones can also be quite useful.

Also, a probable bug… when I was trying the Tinxy (non-Tasker) approach, I think the app got stuck when I enabled the 21st schedule item and the switch lost network connection. I had to re-add the switch to my Tinxy app. It had lost the previously set schedules also. (Now it’s fine though)
My switch’s firmware version is WIFI_SWITCH_V2_4.5 and upgrades aren’t going through.
I’m not sure if the latest version already has the fix, but wanted to report the bug.

Since switches has a limit to the ROM it can have. We have limited to 20 offline (on device) schedules.

Schedule api is for Tinxy app only
